Doctor Who: 10 Undeniable Reasons The Tenth Doctor Sucks

4. Scares Donna Out Of Becoming Companion (Temporarily)

No one could confuse Donna Noble for being the most intelligent person in the room, but what she lacks in book smarts, she holds in "street smarts" and compassion. After it was discovered that Earth's core was a Racnoss spaceship, the Doctor figured out the Racnoss Empress was attempting to awaken her children to feast on the planet. Subsequently, after stating that he warned her, and that "you did this", he used a few conveniently Christmas themed explosives to drown the emerging children in the River Thames before they could wreck havoc on the planet itself, all the while holding a vengeful glare toward the Empress herself. It took Donna yelling at the Doctor to snap him out of his trance-like state and he thanked her by offering her the chance to accompany him on the TARDIS. She declined, possibly out of sheer terror of what she had just witnessed, although she did encourage him to find "someone" so he always had a friend to stop him from crossing the line.
