Doctor Who: 10 Worst Episodes Of The Decade

3. Victory Of The Daleks (2010)

The Eleventh Doctor’s first series is one of the best given it contains an impressive and consistent string of adventures. Sadly, such a series is slightly marred by its third episode.

‘Victory of the Daleks’ is a remarkably underwhelming episode given it’s the first time the Eleventh Doctor faces his arch enemies. Though the episode has an interesting premise, it loses its shine rather quickly. The pacing is especially odd. One minute the Daleks are hiding their true objective, and the next, they seem to have no concern about exposing their plan.

The many-coloured Daleks only add to this episode’s stupidity. Indeed, far from feeling threatening, these particular Daleks wouldn't have looked out of place in an episode of Power Rangers.

As such, ‘Victory of the Daleks’ is a mess from start to finish. Though it would be wrong to describe the episode as boring, it certainly doesn’t have anything to offer other than a fast-moving plot and a multitude of ludicrous story beats.
