7. Waving To The Ponds

In an episode where the Doctor acts like a terrible person A LOT (seriously, go back and watch it and think about what hes doing to the people who love him), this tiny moment at the beginning is a pure joy. Its one of a montage in which the Doctor is waving to them out of history, and it actually sets the tone for the Ponds future relationship with the Doctor. From that point onward, the Ponds would be the Doctors touchstone in the present day. After so many years with the Doctor as part of their family, Amy and Rory probably got used to things like the Doctor appearing on their TV, wearing a fez and dancing about with Laurel and Hardy. Although I think theyd both be really freaked out by the naked painting he had done earlierScoundrel.
