Doctor Who: 14 Cool Details Revealed In David Tennant's The End Of Time Part One Commentary

7. David Tennant Fell Over While Shooting This Running Scene

It simply isn't a Tennant-era episode of Doctor Who without a bit of running, and sure enough, The End Of Time Part One fulfils that requirement early on.

There's a scene where the Doctor chases the Master across a wasteland - which concludes with Wilf finally tracking the Doctor down - and according to Tennant, this particular scene was quite painful to shoot, because he hurt himself while doing it.

More specifically, Tennant says that he "fell over" while filming the above shot, mainly because the terrain made it difficult to keep his footing.

Those Converse probably didn't help either...

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
