20. The End Of Time, Part Two
Well, might as well start at the very beginning, right? The Doctor's regenerations are always turbulent at the best of times but David Tennant's transformation into Matt Smith at at the end of... well, The End of Time, Part Two was particularly traumatic for all concerned, not only because the Tenth Doctor didn't want to go but also because he managed to blow up the entire TARDIS in the process. He was never going to leave quietly, was he? Still, it paved the way for Matt to pull some awesome expressions in his debut moments as he realised that his beloved spaceship was about to crash land on Earth as it hurtled out of control, but more importantly he still wasn't ginger(!!). This scene certainly set the tone for his future foray of faces, though, don't you think? He had us at the teeth grind.
