Doctor Who: 5 Worst And 5 Best Cybermen Stories

BEST:

5. €œThe Next Doctor€

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv_47isUp9g I liked this story much more than I had expected to. First off, during the Davies era, I really came to dislike the Christmas specials. And why not? Some of them, like €œVoyage of the Dammed€, were among the worst stories ever made for the series. Others were simply mediocre and none were very good. None except for this one. This story really does work on every level. The €œDoctor€ and the Doctor make for a great team-up, and Jackson Lake really does seem like a future incarnation of the Doctor on many levels. Combine this with a wonderful villain in the form of Mercy Hartigan, as well as some great cinematography and wardrobe design, and you end up with something truly special that works on almost every level. The €œalmost€ part? Did we really need a giant, CGI, steampunk Cyberman stomping through London? No. No, we did not.
