Doctor Who: 7 Things We Knows About The Revolution Of The Daleks

3. Where Is The Doctor Being Jailed?

One of the only real looks we’ve had at where The Doctor is being jailed came from the cliff-hanger ending of series 12. The Doctor is transported from her TARDIS into a small black room with only a few blue lights to light the cramped chamber. We see The Doctor run to her window where the camera pulls out to unveil a building built into a giant rock. The chances are this will just be a giant floating prison filled with those the Judoon has captured, but that might not be the case.

Since the Judoon were the ones to put The Doctor in her prison cell, it is likely we will see them appear again in the episode. This year was the first time Whovians had seen the Judoon since their last appearance in the series four ending, Journey's End.

Others are claiming that the prison might actually be a brand new version of the prison planet Shada. The planet has gone through different design changes over the years with the most recent being in the animated classic lost episode, Shada, featuring the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker.
