So as mentioned before despite being one of the best couples in the series, the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler never actually kissed, although David Tennant and Billie Piper did. Twice in fact. We'll get onto to the second of those a little later on but for now let's focus on the one in New Earth.

In the Series 2 opener, Rose gets possessed by the devious Lady Cassandra. Cassandra's attempts to pass herself off as the real Rose fail completely and The Doctor deduces rather quickly that something isn't right. Not only does she lack empathy and speak with a posh accent, Cassandra also gives Ten an extremely passionate kiss.

It's later revealed that Cassandra had read Rose's mind and learned that Rose fancied The Doctor, so she probably thought a kiss was in character.

It's a pretty funny moment thanks to the pairs' shocked expressions and Ten's little quip: "Yep. Still got it", brilliantly delivered by Tennant.

There are rumours that the kiss was in fact Piper's idea and Tennant had no idea it was coming. If that was the case, it would feature a lot higher than this but since no one has confirmed it, it can't quite make the top 10.
