The first major kiss of the revival remains one of the best. At the climax of The Parting Of The Ways, Rose absorbs the Time Vortex, using its power to destroy the Dalek fleet and save the Ninth Doctor.

But when the power of the vortex begins to burn her mind, The Doctor gives her the kiss of life in order to save her, absorbing the vortex and sacrificing himself in the process.

Not only is this an epic kiss, in terms of saving not only all of time and space but also the woman you love, it's also a great payoff to all the chemistry between the two that had been built up over the series. While many associate Rose with the Tenth Doctor, it cannot be forgotten how great a pair her and Nine made.

Eccleston's: "I think you need a Doctor", line, maybe a bit cheesy for some, but honestly, I think it's fantastic.
