After Martha gets kidnapped in Gridlock, the Doctor finds himself giving chase in spectacular fashion as he jumps from car to car trying to find her. One of the cars he finds himself in is driven by two Japanese women, and their car is decorated with a poster with some Japanese writing on, next a vaguely familiar woman.
Yes that’s right, when translated the poster says, you guessed it, “Bad Wolf”. Were the plans for Rose’s return already in the works at this point? Or did they just have some left over set dressing from series one that they wanted to use? Who’s to say!
