Since the Dalek was completely naked for the majority of this episode, it was going to search for some way of re-casing itself. Now nowhere on Earth has a Dalek casing just lying around (that we know of), so the Dalek-controlled Lin heads to a farm to build some rudimentary Dalek casing, and oh boy is this thing cool.

Made from a few scraps of Dalek found at the mysterious MDZ Research, along with some old tractors and lawnmowers I'd say, this scrapheap challenge Dalek may look a little anemic in places, but it's still just as menacing as any other Dalek. Since this creature is a scout drone, it's a bit cleverer than our usual Dalek drones, able to assemble rockets to be launched from beneath its skirting globes. It may not have been overly flashy, but this Dalek returned our favourite pepperpots to form, and was truly menacing in the process.
