4. The Tenth Doctor And Queen Elizabeth I (The Day Of The Doctor)
Only The Doctor could attend his own wedding- twice!
After accidentally proposing to Elizabeth I on the false assumption that she is a Zygon, The Tenth Doctor is eventually forced to go through with the nuptials. The event is witnessed by his past self The War Doctor, future self The Eleventh Doctor, and Eleven's current companion, Clara Oswald.
Unfortunately, The Tenth Doctor is forced to leave immediately after the wedding to help his other selves deal with a Zygon invasion on present-day Earth. He never returns to poor Elizabeth, leaving her embarrassed and heartbroken.
The Queen's embarrassment eventually turns to bitterness, and finally a hatred of The Doctor. This explains the older Elizabeth's fury upon seeing him in 'The Shakespeare Code'.
