10. A Double Life
Clara is leading two completely separate lives and its exhausting in more than one way. Her body is overworked and her mind is overwhelmed with the challenge of making Danny believe she is less than what she is. Danny, however, isnt as upset with the reveal of time spent with the Doctor as he is of the lie that kept him from knowing her. Yet Danny is also keeping secrets. It is obvious he is deeply affected by his past life as a soldier but is reluctant to talk about it. He suspects the Doctor has his own agenda and does not trust him to take care of Clara. The Doctor is not above using his companion to feed his ego. He needs to be the center of attention and he is lost when he loses that focus. Clara is caught in the middle, trying to reconcile her feelings for the two people who are most important to her.
