Doctor Who Series 10: 10 Things We Learned From The New Trailer

We have known about the Emojibots for a while, since they appeared in the 'Coming Soon' trailer. This one, however, reveals that they aren't always so smiley and their faces can switch to an evil face made of skull eyes and skeletal teeth. It's something that makes them reminiscent of a sort of hi-tech version of the head-revolving Smilers from way back in 2010's The Beast Below.

The robots will appear in episode two from In The Forest of the Night writer Frank Cottrell-Boyce. From piecing together different parts of the trailer, it looks like this episode features a sort of Tomorrowland-looking future that's full of gleaming chrome building and wheat fields. Guest star Ralf Little can also be seen at one point, cowering from a blinding light.
