Doctor Who Series 11 Finale: 3 Ups & 3 Downs From 'The Battle Of Ranskoor Av Kolos'

2. Tim Shaw Was Too Easily Defeated

Doctor Who Tim Shaw

Yep, the main antagonist from episode one, Stenza warrior 'Tim Shaw' is back again, and he's wreaking havoc. Fuelled by rage, he unplugs himself from his life support systems to chase The Doctor down. After all of the planet-stealing, it looks as if Tim Shaw is as powerful and subsequently as dangerous as ever.

But in the end, a laser blast to the foot and being turfed into one of his own stasis pods is how he is taken down, by none other than just Ryan and Graham. No Doctor in sight. She was too busy trying to save a bunch of kinder-egg'd planets. This villain return felt less of Davros rearing his head again to destroy the building blocks of existence, and more like a Slitheen ending up as Mayor of Cardiff. It's a shame, as the build-up to this point was rather gripping.

Also the go-to for Doctor Who, and could tell you why Sans Serif fonts are better than most. Still occasionally tap dances under the desk.
