Doctor Who Series 13: 8 Leaked Details We Already Know
1. A Halloween Setting - Is This A Hint At The Broadcast Date Of The Series?
For this last one, we've got a set video that was filmed by a nearby fan, and while it doesn't seem terribly revealing at first glance, there's an easy-to-miss detail here that might be giving us a hint at both the time period of the episode, as well as the rough broadcast date of the actual series.
In the video, we can see Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill stepping out of the TARDIS (which appears to confirm that Yaz is indeed the sole companion in Series 13), heading over to a house, and then running away, looking all panicked.
It doesn't really tell us much about the episode, but at the front of the house we can see two pumpkins laid on top of the wall, which could be a key piece of information.
Firstly, this suggest that this episode is set on or around Halloween. This might even be the Weeping Angels episode (both locations look similar), which would be a perfect marriage between time period and villain.
Further still, this might be a clue that Series 13 will air an episode on Halloween 2021. Doctor Who doesn't typically do Halloween-themed episodes, but when you consider that 31 October falls on a Sunday next year - the day of the week that Doctor Who now airs on - all the pieces start to line up.
Series 13 is set to finish filming in September 2021, so everything will be in the can well in advance of Halloween - especially the episode we see in the above set video, which is obviously being filmed super early in the production schedule.
While nothing is certain when it comes to TV/film release dates after the crazy year we've had, we're calling it now: an episode of Doctor Who will air on Halloween 2021.
