Doctor Who Series 9: Every Single Episode Previewed
3. Episode 10
Written by: To be confirmed Directed by: To be confirmed Nothing is known about this episode, either, other than the fact that it's been written by a mysterious writer whose identity was cryptically blurred out in a picture of the script which was taken at the recent read-through. Its title was omitted, too, which makes you wonder why on Earth they'd even bother to release such a pointless picture in the first place, unless they were purposefully trying to send the fandom's speculative minds into an unprecedented overdrive. And guess what? Mission accomplished. Fans have thrown the inevitable flurry of weird and wonderful names into the mix thus far, including a persistent suggestion that Russell T Davies has returned to commemorate 10 years of the revived series. He's actively denied it, of course, but it would make some sort of sense, what with it being the tenth episode and all. Just sayin'. It could be Mark Gatiss, too, since he's already confirmed that he's written an episode. Only time will tell, but it's always fun to theorise until it does. You never know, they might just shock us all...
