9. Jeffrey Tambor Kills The Play-Off Music
Jeffrey Tambor once again won the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award for his marvelous work on Transparent, and after he finished thanking everyone, the producers attempted to play him off the stage as he made an important closing statement.
Tambor was having none of it, shushing the music with so much conviction that the producers actually killed it and let him have his moment. Tambor ended his speech by saying that Hollywood needs to give transgender actors a chance, saying, "I would not be unhappy were I the last cisgender male to play a female transgender on television."
What a class act, and Tambor's second win of the night was being one of the few actors to ever beat the play-off music. Bravo.
