Emmys 2017 Nominations: 10 Most Outrageous Snubs

4. The Americans

As they so brilliantly stated in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, you know you're living in a golden age of television when you can take a show like The Americans for granted. It's so incredibly true, and nowhere is it more evident than when looking at the Emmy nominations.

To be totally fair, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys were both nominated for their powerhouse performances as the Russian spies constantly trying to balance their apple pie home lives with frequent bouts of espionage.

But what world are we living in that this show isn't constantly talked about as the piece of art that it is? It deserves so much more attention than it gets, and now that it's officially approaching its final season, chances to take home some Emmy gold are dwindling fast.

And real talk: This is Us nominated for Best Drama while The Americans sits on the sidelines like the kid who was picked last in gym class? Come on.
