Emmys 2018: Who Should Win Every Award (And Who Actually Will)

2. Lead Actress In A Drama Series

The Crown Claire Foy
Netflix

Nominees: Sandra Oh, Killing Eve; Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black; Keri Russell, The Americans; Claire Foy, The Crown; Elisabeth Moss, The Handmaid’s Tale; Evan Rachel Wood, Westworld

Should Win: Keri Russell

It's hard to argue against Elisabeth Moss winning, but it'll be a damn shame if Keri Russell's work on The Americans goes unrewarded. For six years she's displayed an unparalleled range, and does so again in Season 6, taking the character of Elizabeth Jennings - and us viewers - on a journey that won't be forgotten for a long, long time.

Will Win: Elisabeth Moss

She is absurdly good in The Handmaid's Tale, and in Season 2 continued to give an emotionally shattering performance. Emmy voters do love consistency as well, and since she's the reigning champ, in a show both relevant and talked about a lot, she'll probably repeat.
