Every 2016 Netflix Exclusive TV Show Ranked Worst To Best

3. Lady Dynamite (Season 1)

House Of Cards Stranger Things Daredevil
Netflix

An altogether more successful co-creation for Mitch Hurwitz after the inconsistent Flaked, Lady Dynamite is a staggering, almost uncomfortably intimate look at the life of Maria Bamford (playing herself) as she attempts to rebuild it following an avalanche of personal turmoil.

One of the show's most defining features is its endless self-awareness, not merely winking at the audience but having Bamford quite literally riff on the nature of the show itself in a peculiar and entrancing feedback loop of sorts.

It may venture into too-surreal territory for more straight-laced viewers, but for those who like a mountain of weird alongside their dramedy, Lady Dynamite is a masterful star vehicle for Bamford and one of the most ingeniously-constructed shows on Netflix.

More of this, please.
