1. The Tales Of Dunk & Egg
This is quite possibly the most exciting, and most highly anticipated Game of Thrones spin off coming out of HBO, as fans have been desperate to see Dunk and Egg come to the screen for years now.
George R. R. Martin has published three short stories since 1998 - The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight, all telling of Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg, who happens to be Aemon Targaryen's brother, and would eventually sit the Iron Throne as Aegon the Unlikely.
The two met roughly 90 years prior to the events of Game of Thrones, as Dunk, who would ultimately go on to become the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, namedropped in the series by King Joffrey when berating his Uncle Jaime, fought as a true Knight to respect and protect the honour of innocents.
These tales have taken Dunk and Egg across all of Westeros, to melees, tourneys, and fights to the death with Princes and future Kings. Yet, no matter who he had to fight, humble Dunk from Flea Bottom was always a true Knight, and his and Egg's story absolutely deserves to be brought to the screen.
