Every Sex Education Character Ranked Worst To Best

Talk about a character who manages to tug at your heartstrings and tickle your funny bone at the same time. This show would not be the same without the incomparable Aimee Gibbs, not only because of her brilliant humour but the dark places her character has been taken.

On the surface, this character is entirely endearing. She's got an air-headedness that makes her come across as naïve and loveable, yet, doesn't make fun of her intelligence. Plus, despite her, let's say, loose grip on things, she's always an upbeat presence in the show, who has great advice to give and acts as a truly loyal friend.

However, the infamous bus scene from season two took her character in a thoroughly different direction. Viewers still had the same old Aimee, but the focus on her trauma gave her an edge which showed how any woman, no matter how optimistic, can be severely damaged by the act of sexual assault.

You get so much bang for your buck with her, as she's funny, likeable and complex all in one neat package.
