A Star Is Burns, from the show's sixth season, sees Springfield's very own film festival, with acclaimed film critic Jay Sherman invited along as a judge. Among the films on offer are productions courtesy of Hans Moleman and Barney Gumble, but it's Mr. Burns' film that brings us here.

Prior to deciding he'd have to play the role of himself, well, himself, Montgomery holds auditions to find the candidate best suited, which sees William Shatner dressed in a Starfleet uniform showing up, speaking in his Captain Kirk voice. He merely utters Burns' iconic catchphrase "Excellent!", and that's it.

There's nothing more to this one aside from a genuinely acceptable guest star performance. Sure, it was only one line, but at least it had some sort of importance towards the overall arc of the show. Kudos to Shatner.
