Every The CW Superhero Show Ranked Worst To Best

5. DC's Legends Of Tomorrow

Arrowverse Characters
The CW

When DC's Legends of Tomorrow made it debut on The CW, it instantly fell to the bottom of the Arrowverse heap. Though it had promise, its overserious tone resulted in this vehicle for some of the most beloved supporting characters from The Flash and Arrow having ignition problems right from the beginning. A year later, it completely turned things around.

Weaving its rich dramatic characters into a plot that was ridiculous in its approach and unfathomable on paper, Legends found a way to time-travel its way into our hearts, making us forget about the fantasy-driven past and focus on the humour-driven future. And it was all the better for it.

A show that thrives on the lunacy of its own storylines, its a refreshing and enjoyable take on the superhero genre that dares to be different because the creative team is fully aware that no other show on television would be brave enough to try some of the things that it can get away with.

It's true that the two most recent seasons have taken it too far off the rails with its heavy emphasis on mindless comedy, but when it's on those rails, it's the best superhero show on TV.
