The premise of Santa Clarita Diet sees the series centre on the lives of married couple Joel and Sheila, real estate agents in California, whose lives take a dark turn after the latter goes through a "dramatic change".

There's some intrigue there, though the real hook of the show comes from the people playing Joel and Sheila: Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore. Both are emminently watchable and likeable, and it should be a lot of fun watching them in a sitcom setting.
