Falcon & The Winter Soldier: 10 Biggest Problems

2. It's A HUGE Step Down From WandaVision

WandaVision, the first Disney+ MCU show, was a roaring success.

Of course, it had its issues - for starters, it brought back the ever-insufferable Darcy bloody Lewis (Kat Dennings), who is literally the last character anyone wanted to see return - but it was a pretty great show, not to mention a breath of fresh air in almost every way.

Not only was it superbly executed across the board, but it was raised up by sheer originality and creativity. WandaVision felt like exactly what the MCU needed, given the franchise's aforementioned problem with overfamiliarity.

That's one of the reasons why The Falcon and the Winter Soldier feels like a let-down. Not only is it nowhere near as good as WandaVision, but it goes in completely the opposite direction from WandaVision's creativity and settles for the same old MCU formula.

WandaVision broke the mould, but Falcon and Winter Soldier completely failed to do this and as such, it really feels like a creative regression, as well as a step down in quality.
