Family Guy: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)
4. Season 6
Instead of having stories rife with political humour (which was abundant in the last few years), this season focuses on hilariously ridiculous scenarios like the Griffin kids being babysat by Mr Herbert or Peter discovering he's an illegal Mexican immigrant. If that's all this season was, it would be filled with episodes that, although funny, would come across as pure filler.
However, Season 6 focuses on story arcs that force the characters to grow. Brian learns he has a son, Stewie finally exacts his revenge on Lois, Joe is able to walk again, Peter acknowledges his mistreatment to Meg, and Brian confesses his undying love to Lois.
There are so many entertaining moments and touching beats, a lot of the storylines could work without injecting any comedy. But don't worry. This wouldn't be Family Guy without quotable witticisms and offensive jokes you're ashamed to laugh at and Season 6 has that in spades.
