6. Why Is Tobias The Only One Who Knows What's Happening?

Everyone protesting against the police in the crowd fails to see that multiple bullets aren't doing anything to stop a person. The walkers are strolling straight towards them, the police are shooting, and no amount of direct hits are even causing the walkers to stumble. Why can't people see that something is majorly wrong here? So far only young Tobias has any idea of what's actually going on. He's discovered it all from the internet, and in an age where major incidents go viral immediately (including in the Pilot episode) why is he the only one who is busy stocking up, other than the well-informed police officer? Rather than lining the streets looking for a fight, people should be fleeing for their lives.
