The hasnt really been a shortage of walkers on The Walking Dead - probably because thats kind of the point, and the name, of the show - despite the rather remote setting out in Georgia etc. With Fear The Walking Dead being set in LA, one of the biggest cities in the US, once the outbreak fully spreads there are going to be a lot of zombies roaming the streets, perhaps on a scale much bigger than previously seen on TWD. But that is something the show will have to build to, and at the very beginning theres probably not going to be that many walkers around. Its more likely that well instead see very isolated, strange incidents of attacks and those who have turned, and even the possibility of the pilot episode, at least, going without showing us any - or maybe saving the reveal for the end. The Walking Dead audience was dropped, along with Rick Grimes, into a world already very much in the throes of a zombie apocalypse. It would subvert a lot of knowledge and expectations to place them now into a world that, initially, doesnt have any.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
