The Flash: 10 Predictions For The Rest Of The Series

10. Weather Wizard's Revenge

The pilot episode saw the television universe version of the Weather Wizard, a metahuman by the name of Clyde Mardon. While in the comics Mardon was a scientist focusing on finding a way to control the weather (hence the name) the TV incarnation was a thief who got caught in the blast from the Star Labs particle accelerator. He gained the ability to control the weather (still hence the name) and used it to rob banks, coming into conflict with the CCPD and becoming the first villain Barry Allen had to face with his new powers. As this would be a very short show if the hero died in the first episode the Flash came out on top and Mardon died as a result of the confrontation. But if he€™s dead, he can€™t come back, right? Well, Clyde Mardon may not return, but he has a brother in the comics and indeed mentioned in the series. Mark Mardon is the main character associated with the Weather Wizard identity. The part has also been cast for the series, with Spartacus star Liam McIntyre signed up to take on the role. With a high profile actor and a motive that€™ll make for some electrifying television, it€™s highly likely we€™ll see Mardon appear in order to get revenge for his brother.
