The Flash Trailer: 8 Things It Told Us

Speeding onto our TV screens soon!

Even before Barry Allen appeared in Arrow€™s second season, fans and audiences were hopeful the Scarlet Speedster would land to his own show. After the overwhelmingly positive reception of Barry€™s appearance in €˜The Scientist€™ and €˜Three Ghosts€™, the CW decided to forgo their original plan of filming a backdoor pilot in Arrow and went right to the pilot stage. Movement on The Flash series really picked up speed (no pun intended) as they slowly began releasing more information, including a very cool picture of Grant Gustin in costume that looks taken right from the comic books. Other than the fact the series would cross over with the world of Arrow, fans did not have much more information about The Flash. That all changed the other day with the release of The Flash€™s lengthy new trailer. Fans were given quite an in-depth look at what the series, and the pilot more specifically, would look like as the trailer showed Barry discovering and testing his powers before using them to stop crime. The trailer really showed off the impressive quality of Flash€™s powers and how they translate to the small screen, offering some better than usual visual effects for this iteration of The Flash on television than any previous incarnation. If nothing else, it is an intriguing first look at one of the highly anticipated new shows of the fall which displays a lot of promise, also presenting some unique ideas which viewers don€™t often see in a superhero drama. That being said, there are a couple of elements within the trailer that raise concerns. Not enough to really diminish the excitement surrounding the show, but enough to at least raise some small red flags. Regardless, The Flash€™s trailer has received a positive reaction from the fanbase and is on the fast track (again, no pun intended) to becoming a hit for the CW. Without further ado, here are eight things the trailer told audiences what to expect from The Flash. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj0l7iGKh8g
