Friends: 10 Storylines Season 11 Could Have Explored
7. Frank Buffay Jr Overcomes The Struggles Of Parenthood
"I haven't slept in four years"
That quote probably has a mainline right into the hearts of any readers with kids. The struggles of parenthood are vast as raising a kid requires hard work, dedication and sacrifice, and if you think just one is bad, try triplets on for size.
Frank Buffay Jr, brother to Phoebe, was one of the best side characters in the show. He went from a hilariously quirky and somewhat creepy character to someone with maturity, growth and a family. Still, the last time we saw him was when he offered Phoebe to take one of his beloved children.
In "The One Where Ross Is Fine", Frank admits that he's genuinely struggling too much, but after a conversation with Phoebe, he makes it clear that he loves his kids and can't think of losing one. That was the last we ever saw of him, so season 11 could have been a great relief that showed as he started to find his footing as a dad.
The Triplets themselves were characters we could have seen more, but simply watching as Frank grew into a strong father would have been beautiful.
