6. Joey Settling Down
The almost playboy lifestyle of Joey Tribiani was hilarious and gave the show the ability to continue some of the classic dating/first-time lover humour that helped it find success in its early years. With that being said, no one can say that seeing Joey stuck in his ways while the others settled down, got married and looked into their futures felt quite right.
It would have made a lot of sense to see Joey slow down a little. One great way to do that would have been to put him into a serious relationship. We'd seen Joey date for extensive periods but never got the sense that he was looking to settle down with someone, but season eleven could have been that chance.
This story would have been filled with conflict and humour, as Joey - despite being as old as he is - probably has limited knowledge when it comes to serious relationships, meaning it would be a hodgepodge of misunderstandings and confusion. Plus, settling down could pair perfectly with his finding fame storyline.
