Friends Cast: Where Are They Now?
6. David Schwimmer (Ross)
David Schwimmer was one of only two of the main Friends cast to be invited to audition for his role, the other being Courtney Cox (interestingly, Cox for Rachel, not Monica). Considering how hilarious he was in the part, the producers and casting directors definitely made the right call.
Though Friends remains his biggest success to date, Schwimmer has continued to land big roles in the fifteen years since the show ended. He starred in family animation Madagascar across all three movies, and had a small but notable role in the critically revered Band Of Brothers.
Perhaps his most acclaimed role after Friends came in 2016, where he played Robert Kardashian in American Crime Story. Schwimmer was roundly praises for his touching and subtle performance, earning only the second Emmy nomination of his career, 21 years after his first for playing Ross Geller on Friends. Sterling K. Brown won that year, also for his role in American Crime Story.
He also appeared recently in the revival of Will & Grace and has new crime show Intelligence on the horizon.
