Game Of Thrones: 12 Greatest Anti-Heroes In Westeros

3. Arya Stark

Tywin Lannister Game of Thrones
HBO

Arya Stark is the perfect example of a lone wolf in so many ways. For a start, the wolf is her family's sigil, and secondly she's still a young girl but she's fought her way through so many situations where others would've crumbled. She's used her wits and made it this far, and while she's been fun to watch, she hasn't played a huge role in the future of Westeros so you can expect a lot more to come from her storyline.

But she isn't the straight-forward hero many people make her out to be. Arya has a deadly, vengeful streak in her, and her vigilante execution of Meryn Trant proved that she was capable of brutality to benefit others. Arya's done some questionable acts, but there's no doubting her motives. As she progresses with her training, expect to see more tough choices from her that will appear savage in the short term, but will ultimately take place for a good purpose.
