Game of Thrones: 10 Most Inventive Deaths

2. The Kiss Of Death

Those Baratheon/Lannister children never seem to die in a normal way. First King Joffrey drinks a poisonous beverage that has him choking so much his face turns purple and his eyes burst out of his skull, then Myrcella bites the dust after receiving a kiss of death from Ellaria Sand.

After being told to stand down and leave Myrcella alone when she tried to get the Sand Snakes to assassinate her following the death of her husband and their father, Prince Oberyn Martell, it looked like Ellaria would simply have to accept that she wouldn't be able to gain any revenge. Or so we thought.

By cleverly disguising a poisonous smooch as a kiss goodbye and sending her on her way back to King's Landing, Ellaria was able to gain her vengeance without causing an all out war between the two families. It was incredibly smart because even though she got what she wanted and finally killed a Lannister, no one could prove that she was the one who had did it allowing her to go on as if nothing had ever happened.
