Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Spectacular Moments From Season 3
2. Dany Sacks Astapor, "And Now His Watch Is Ended"
Daenerys really didn't get to do much except whine about her missing dragons in Season 2. It was refreshing to see our favorite Khaleesi finally get to be a badass queen when she sacks a city and fools everyone, especially foul-mouthed slaver Kraznys. All of Emilia Clarke's scenes this year were phenomenal, but no one will forget when she starts spitting fire in High Valyrian. She orders her newly acquired 8,000 Unsullied to kill all the slavers in the city and then has her dragon burn Kraznys and pretty much everything else. While it's no surprise that Dany isn't going to give up her biggest dragon for an army, it's a revelation to see that she has been trolling the degrading slaver the entire time. The best part about the entire sequence is that it seems like a season finale. Dany has acquired a powerful army that still wants to fight for her, even after she frees them. They all walk off into the sunset in an epic march, leaving the city in ruins. Throwing the slave whip on the ground is a nice touch, too.
