Game Of Thrones: 10 Worst Episodes (According To IMDb)
9. No One - 8.4
'No One' is similar to many of the slower Game of Thrones episodes in that there is not a massive amount of action, but it serves more to further the stories so that the pay off further down the line is much bigger. In this regard the episode does its job, bringing Arya to the point of returning home to Winterfell. The rest of the episode however just doesn't compare to the excellent standard set before it, rendering it almost forgettable.
Brienne and Pod arrived at Riverrun to assist Jaime in the siege of the Blackfish, the Hound reunited with Beric Dondarrion on the road, and Tyrion attempted to have a laugh and a joke with Grey Worm and Missandei in one of the most misplaced and jarring scenes in the show. The problem is that all of these storylines came from the showrunners rather than George R. R. Martin's source material, and the gulf in quality between the two is clear and obvious.
Possibly the biggest drawback of this episode was the complete omission of Jon Snow, and at the height of the anticipation for the Battle of the Bastards no less. Yes, the show more than made up for the this with the actual battle one episode later, but at the time a lack of Jon was bitterly disappointing.
