Game Of Thrones: 12 Biggest Cult Heroes

1. Prince Oberyn

Deciding on an ultimate cult hero is an immensely tricky task in a show like Thrones with so many worthy contenders. Virtually anybody on this list (excluding Ser Pounce) could stake a reasonable claim for the top spot, but it's the Dornish rockstar Prince Oberyn who takes the crown for his mind-blowing (too soon?) appearances throughout Season 4. It's hard to believe he has only featured in seven episodes - that's fewer than Mace Tyrell or Hot Pie - but he made a real clamour in the capital with his exuberant lifestyle involving women (and men), wine, warring with words, and warring with weapons. He made a huge impact, and the words: "You raped her. You murdered her. You killed her children," would have been etched into your brain all night after watching Oberyn's head being smeared across the floor. He was a cool customer, a ladies' man, and wildly popular with many fans around the world, even if his run was cut short. Who's your favourite cult hero from Game Of Thrones? If we missed them off the list, let us know down in the comments.
