Game Of Thrones: 12 Easter Eggs You Probably Missed In Season 5
3. Tyrion's Witcher Cameo
Not an Easter Egg from the show itself, but given the release date of The Witcher 3 coming in the middle of Game Of Thrones season 5, and the number of references dropped in there, it seems wrong to ignore them.
The best of the references, which are numerous and occasionally humorous, comes when you sail to Prison Island (to the north of Undvik), which is home to a former fortress that has been re-used as a prison. Once you've made your way through the pirate forces that attack you (they're touch, so waiting until you're above level 12 is a must) and make your way to the dungeon, you can access the middle cell with a key dropped by one of the pirates.
Within that cell - which is a very familiar looking sky cell, as introduced in A Golden Crown back in season one of Game Of Thrones - lies a dead dwarf with a scar across his face. He bears more than a passing resemblance to Tyrion, and Geralt's examination of him seems to suggest it is one and the same:
"Sky cells. Nice idea for a prison without bars. Shame he didn't know how to fly."
