Game Of Thrones: 12 Questions We’re Asking After 'Mother's Mercy'

3. Will We See Sam In Season 6?

Sam got out of Castle Black before it all fell to pieces, along with Gilly and her baby, and with the Night's Watch being a largely isolated community, it could be a while before he realises that Jon has been killed by his fellow brothers. The producers could continue his storyline similarly to Bran and omit Sam completely from Season 6. There's so much distance to cover between The Wall and Oldtown that the producers could go in two directions. A) They detail the journey, complete with conflict and possible intertwining with other storylines. B) Skip the journey for Season 6, and have Sam arrive to start Maester training at the end of Season 6. He could be the season's Bran, but he has a lot of potential seen as he's the only person heading South who knows about the White Walker rampage, and the method for killing them. He needs to survive long enough to utilise that information.
