Game Of Thrones: 7 Big Problems With Season 5
4. Ramsay Is Way Too Overpowered
Speaking of Sansa, let’s talk about Ramsay. While Game of Thrones is full of people that viewers dislike, it’s clear that the show always wants to have one really despicable, psychopathic villain that stands above the rest. For the first few seasons there was Joffrey, and since his death, Ramsay has taken his place.
But here’s the problem: it’s getting really tiring how ridiculously overpowered Ramsay and the Boltons are. A lot of the reason people love Game of Thrones is the idea that anything can happen, but this idea that bad things can happen at any time now only applies to the good guys. When it comes to Ramsay, he can fight off a whole team of Greyjoys by himself completely shirtless. He can completely sabotage the most skilled fighter in Westeros with 20 men all while totally undetected.
There is no Bolton opposition at all? They never face any sort of setbacks whatsoever? It’s getting so old going through the motions of having the Boltons take down everyone and torture whoever the audience loves while facing no challenges. For a series that loves to deal with the realism of war and show that anyone can be killed, the Boltons have become far too unstoppable.
