2. The Hound

The Hound ain't dead. The Hound can't be dead. The Hound hasn't fought the Mountain yet. Sandor Clegane's situation looked awfully bleak as he was left to die by Brienne, while Arya refused to put him out of his misery. The warrior was left to bleed to death, but he wasn't killed on-screen and it is very feasible that he could make a return. His story also links back to Beric Dondarrion and the Brotherhood Without Banners. He fought and killed Beric, who has the power to return from the dead, before the Brotherhood leader told the Hound that the Lord of Light must have a purpose for the hardened fighter. He didn't serve an enormous purpose other than shuffling Arya around the North, so could there be more to come from the Hound? Hopefully.
