Likely Outcome: Lord Of Meereen (And Dragons?)

His predicament might look difficult without Dany's protection in Meereen, but Tyrion is now in a position that absolutely suits him. The remaining small council may have Varys' conniving brain and the military prowess of Greyworm, but they will turn to Tyrion for guidance to lead them out of the difficult situation facing them.

Even without his stunning decision to turn to the power of dragons to help beat down the rise of the Sons Of The Harpy, Tyrion would fall back on his ability to "drink and know things" and he will effectively rule successfully on Dany's behalf.

Hopefully the release of those dragons will not only calm down the political upheaval in Meereen, but will also confirm that Tyrion is actually part Targaryen and can command the fire-breathers. And that sort of revelation will cement Tyrion as a continued power in the Great Game.
