3. Turning Babies

We know the White Walkers can grow themselves an army of undead, but how do they swell their own ranks. Are there female White Walkers? Can they reproduce? That's something we don't know, and to be honest don't really want to think about. White Walker sex is probably a step too far, even for this show. However, we have seen one way they can create new White Walkers, and that's with the fact that they can turn babies into them. This is shown when it's revealed that's what Craster is doing with his sons. So, yeah, don't let them near the maternity ward of a hospital. With the ability to change babies, this means they can effectively continue to survive and swell their numbers, so long as there are willing sacrifices (or they find babies they can take). But with Craster gone, and the wildlings moving South, they're going to have to try a bit harder to get their icy hands on them. What's not clear is whether it's just the one White Walker who has the ability, or if they can all do it. Also, does it solely apply to babies, or could any human be turned?
