6. The Sons Of The Harpy Are Still Attacking Meereen

The Sons of the Harpy may have plotted a shocking and brutal attack on Meereen, but those plans unravelled by the arrival of Drogon, who arrived to save his mother and killed many Harpies in the process. With Dany gone, Tyrion has been left in charge of Meereen, but what wasn't clear was the state the Sons were left in. Would they bide their time, were they finished, or would they simply continue. The middle option was considered the least likely, and from the trailer it's either the first or the third, as in a very brief scene there's a big attack on Meereen, as evidenced by the explosion seen in the shot above. We don't see the Sons of the Harpy do this, but there aren't really any other contenders for who it could be, confirming that the insurgency group are still very much active in Meereen in Season 6, and a big obstacle that Tyrion and Varys are going to have to overcome.
