Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Battle Of The Bastards'
3. DRAGONS!
Despite what Ian McShane and countless others might say, Game of Thrones has never been just about 'ti*s and dragons'. That being said, when the dragons are displayed in such incredible glory, it really is an awesome sight that can easily dominate the many great elements of the show (the ti*s, on the other hand, can generally be left out).
Few moments on TV are as thrilling as Drogon in full-flight, an occurrence that is still rather rare, but gets better every time it happens. Such is the case here, with the biggest of Daenerys' dragons really being shown off, but this time he's not alone. Rhaegal and Viserion are also unleashed, and it's a glorious moment to witness the three dragons (the other two still a lot smaller than their brother) flying together. Unlike last year's The Dance of Dragons, there aren't really any major CGI issues here. Indeed, for the most part they look pretty amazing.
Sure, we didn't get to see Ghost and next week's episode was probably filmed in David Benioff's back-yard as a result of blowing the budget, but between the dragons and the battle, it was totally worth it.
