Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Book Of The Stranger'

5. The High Sparrow's Story

Man, what a performer Jonathan Pryce is. He's slotted into this show so perfectly since his arrival last year, and his performance as the High Sparrow only keeps on getting better.

This week he really gets to unleash his self-righteous and manipulative side, as he tells Margaery about his transformation from a man who once enjoyed drinking and woman into a loyal servant of the Faith. It's a beguiling tale, and so captivating that it's difficult not to get sucked in. It's wonderfully well-written, and superbly delivered. Margaery may manage to resist his lure, but it's very easy watching this to see how others (looking at you, Tommen) might get sucked in).
