Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Book Of The Stranger'
6. MissandeiAnd Grey Worm Step Up
The Meereen plotline makes some progress this week, although quite how sustainable Tyrion's deal with the masters is remains to be seen. He's reached a compromise, but it's one that leaves the people of Meereen far from satisfied, and there's no real guarantee it'll stop the Sons of the Harpy. Still, at least Tyrion gets to deliver some great lines and the Dink puts in an obviously enjoyable performance, but it's likely this story will really only kick-up a notch once Daenerys returns.
The highlight of Meereen this week, though, was not Tyrion, but Missandei and Grey Worm. They're always there, so much so that they're a natural part of the background, but they come much more to the fore this week. That's a necessity with Dany gone and Tyrion a fish-out-of-water, but it's great to see the pair show their strengths and very much voice their concerns to Tyrion.
